Counter Terrorism Policing Northwest (CTPNW) is a collaboration of five police forces working together to deliver specialist Counter Terrorism (CT) services across the region and as part of the national CT network. Our mission is simple yet vital:to keep people safe from terrorism.

We are seeking a highly skilled and committedPrincipal Counter Terrorism Security Advisor (CTSA) to lead and develop our Protect team. This team plays a critical role in delivering the Protect strand of the Government's CONTEST strategy, which aims to strengthen security measures and reduce vulnerability to terrorist threats. Responsibilities

• Provide counter terrorism security advice for crowded places and hazardous sites.
• Advise on securing dangerous substances, including explosives, chemicals, pathogens, and radiological materials.
• Support the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) in protecting Critical National Infrastructure.
• Offer guidance on personal security for vulnerable individuals.
• Drive continuous improvement and resilience within the Protectються Team.
