The Role

We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join our team in Bristol. We are well known locally for working on iconic projects across sectors such as data centers, conservation and heritage sites, education and healthcare schemes, housing regeneration, and luxury developments.

The role involves leading design delivery programmes, maintaining communication within the project team, and ensuring schedules and resources are appropriately planned.

You will also support and mentor other engineers and technicians in developing our design and project information.

The Right Fit

You will have extensive experience in SuDS, FRA's, engaging with Local Drainage Authorities, and leading civil design projects. Experience in developing delivery programmes, coordinating project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget is essential. Knowledge of engaging with SAB Authorities and designing SuDS in Wales would be advantageous.

Your experience should include:

  • Effective resource, project, and client relationship management
  • Concept and detailed design for Sustainable Drainage Systems
  • Leading design teams and liaising with Authorities
  • Good working knowledge of Civil 3D for drainage networks
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Being a positive role model for others

You should be chartered or actively working towards chartered status through a recognized professional institution. The right candidate will be guided by integrity, kindness, conscientiousness, pride in their work, and a commitment to leaving a positive legacy through their profession.
