The school provides specialist education for children and young people with dyslexia, as well as associated learning and communication difficulties. It has a warm and supportive ethos, with a strong focus on enabling every learner to achieve their potential.

We are looking for an inspiring leader and experienced educational practitioner who has worked in a specialist school setting. You will bring excellent organisational and communication skills, a clear sense of vision, and the ability to lead with both compassion and confidence. Most importantly, you will have the drive to motivate staff, empower learners, and foster a culture where everyone feels valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership as Principal in a small independent specialist school for children and young people with dyslexia and related learning and communication difficulties.
• Inspire and empower staff, monitor and improve teaching and learning outcomes, and ensure a warm, supportive ethos.
• Lead on safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities; develop a culture where every learner achieves their potential.
• Collaborate with families, external partners, and the governing body to shape the school's vision and results.
