Milk Education is recruiting Primary Trainee Teachers to support schools across Sunderland and South Tyneside, with part-time and full-time opportunities available throughout the academic year.
Primary Trainee Teacher role is ideal for:
3rd year university students seeking work after their final placement
1st and 2nd year students wanting to build classroom confidence early
Aspiring teachers looking for a pathway into permanent roles
You'll work in primary schools providing teaching and learning support, similar to a Teaching Assistant role, while gaining invaluable classroom experience. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting the class teacher with lessons and activities
Working with small groups or 1:1 pupils
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and routines
Gaining exposure across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Many of our trainee teachers go on to secure long-term and permanent roles through Milk Education.
