Primary Teaching Assistant Fakenham

About the role:

Justteachers are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Fakenham on a full-time, long-term basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, helping to maintain high standards across the classroom and ensuring all children are able to reach their full potential.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's development and looking to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
• Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN where required
• Promote positive behaviour and follow school behaviour policies
• Monitor and record pupil progress where appropriate
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Two recent references
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsli>
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
• Commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development
