Primary Teaching Assistant - Wareham

Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive? Do you enjoy being part of a warm, supportive school community where every child is known and valued? We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a welcoming primary school in the Wareham area.

Responsibilities

• Support small groups and individual pupils.
• Assist with classroom activities and promote positive behaviour.
• Contribute to a calm, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient and encouraging with.
• Keen to support learning and help pupils feel confident in the classroom.
• Clear communicator and reliable team player.
• Motivated by making a positive difference in young lives.
• No extensive formal experience required; suitable for local applicants, recent graduates, youth workers, sports coaches, existing teaching assistants or support workers.

Key information

Pay: £13.84 - £14.61 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Start date: ASAP
