Teaching Assistant - Primary TA - Autism Support (Full-Time) M24 Middleton Start ASAP

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Middleton area. This full time role is to start ASAP, supporting children with mild Autism (ASC) across Key Stages.

Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester (M24)

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with mild Autism
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Encourage social interaction, communication, and emotional development
• Use a patient, nurturing and structured approach to help children thrive in the classroom
• Support children in accessing the curriculum and promoting positive behaviour

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children with Autism or additional needs (school or care settings welcome)
• A calm, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
