  • Provide feedback to pupils in accordance with the school's marking and assessment policy.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Set high expectations for behaviour and learning within the classroom.

We can offer a variety of opportunities across a range of schools, teaching in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), giving you valuable and diverse teaching experiences. We can even help you find a school to complete your ECT induction.

To apply for this Early Career Teacher (ECT) role, you will need:

  • To hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning.
  • A strong reference from a recent school placement or employer.
Our Promise to You!

We promise that we will never pressure you into accepting work and will only offer opportunities that suit your preferences and availability, allowing you to maintain a healthy work life balance.

As well as choosing when and where you work, working as a Supply Teacher for Flourish Education offers a range of excellent benefits, including:

  • Competitive rates of pay of up to £145 per day (up to £95 per day as a Teaching Assistant).
  • Holiday pay - PAYE candidates accrue 12.07% of their day rate into a holiday pot.
  • Pension contributions.
  • KCSIE compliant safeguarding and Prevent Duty training, including modules covering legislation, FGM, and abuse awareness.
  • Refer a Friend bonus scheme.
  • Regular contact and support throughout the registration process and while in work.

We work with a large variety of schools across Burntwood and the surrounding areas, including Norton Canes, Hammerwich, and Brownhills. Most schools also offer on site parking.
