Primary School Teacher (ECT) - Full-time, long-term supply from September 2026

Duties as Primary School Teacher (ECT)

• Deliver engaging and well structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities appropriate to pupils' needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well managed classroom environment
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high expectations
• Assess and record pupil progress in line with school requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and mentors
• Contribute to wider school life during the long term placement

Ideal Primary School Teacher (ECT)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification for September 2026
• Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking long term supply experience
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and keen to develop professionally
• Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
