About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Year 1 teacher to work full time at a welcoming primary school in Macclesfield. This role is ideal for someone who can step confidently into different classroom settings and make an immediate impact.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1
• Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to maintain positive learning environments
• Confidence to adapt quickly to different year groups and teaching requirements
• Excellent classroom presence and rapport building abilities
• Flexibility to work on short notice when required
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:

• Experience with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and current teaching standards
• Flexibility and resilience
