The Role:
As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide focused phonics support to pupils who need extra help with early reading. You will work with individuals and small groups, helping pupils build sound recognition, decoding skills and reading confidence. You will also support classroom learning and help pupils stay engaged during literacy-based activities.
The Candidate:
This role will suit a creative graduate who is patient, encouraging and confident supporting pupils with early reading development. You should be able to explain tasks clearly, build positive relationships and help pupils feel more confident when tackling phonics and literacy work. Requirements
- 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
- A genuine interest in primary education and early reading development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain learning clearly.

- Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
