Staffordshire Fire & Rescue (SFRS) have an exciting opportunity if you would like to be instrumental in delivering our Prevention, Partnership & Safeguarding Strategy. As our Prevention & Safeguarding Lead you will provide leadership and direction to our dedicated Local Prevention Teams, Education Team, Contact Centre, Fire & Health Partnership Teams, and Volunteers, in our aim to make Staffordshire communities safer and stronger.
You will play a pivotal role in implementing and ensuring the effective delivery of our Annual Service Delivery Plan, Road Safety Delivery Plan, Secondary Fire Prevention Plan, and Education policies. To do this you will build new, and develop existing, partnerships that help us deliver better outcomes for our communities.

Key detailsThe county of Staffordshire is diverse in its geography and its cultures, and is 2713 square kilometres in size. It is made up of the cities of Stoke-on-Trent and Lichfield, and the major towns of Stafford, Burton-upon-Trent, Cannock, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Tamworth and Leek. We have 33 Fire Stations across the county.
