Are you an experienced Press Tool Designer with a passion for stamping dies, jig design and bringing new tooling concepts to life? We're recruiting for a talented designer to join a leading automotive manufacturing business, taking ownership of tooling projects from concept through to production release.

The Role

• Design press tools, stamping dies, weld and assembly jigs from concept to release


• Apply DFM and GD&T principles to deliver robust tooling solutions


• Support concept reviews, simulations and tooling development activities


• Update designs following trials, spotting and production feedback


• Work closely with engineering, toolmakers and suppliers to deliver successful product launches

About You

• Qualified or time-served Press Tool/Die Designer


• Strong experience designing stamping dies and weld/assembly jigs


• Proficient in CAD and engineering drawings


• Excellent knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacture (DFM)


• Automotive manufacturing experience with an understanding of IATF 16949


• A proactive problem-solver who enjoys developing innovative tooling solutions
