Press Officer, Science Museum

Are you a clear communicator with experience working with the media? Would you like to tell compelling and authentic stories about the Science Museum and promote our exciting programme of events, experiences, galleries and exhibitions?

As Press Officer you will support the team with developing and delivering fully PR campaigns that focus on our target audiences. You'll help with pitching stories to key target media and will handle media inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.

The role is varied - you may also supervise media and film crews, photoshoots, etc, and support the press team in organising and administering a range of events, including press previews, photocalls andnews and documentary filming within the museum - as such, occasional out of hours working is required.
