Precision Workshop Machinist

Ltd, Ireland's leading Electromechanical Repair and Installation company are seeking an experienced candidate who will be responsible for works carried out in the precision engineering workshop. We're a family-run business that's small enough to care, yet big enough to handle the most complex electro-mechanical repairs and machinery maintenance.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A qualification and 3+ years' experience in machining/turning.
• Full competence with a variety of workshop machines such as manual lathes and milling machines etc.
• Knowledge of Tooling and Materials.
• Working knowledge of speeds and feeds commonly used to machine various metals to precision tolerances.
• Excellent communication and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Good record keeping ability.

Duties will include:

• Operating a variety of workshop machines competently such as manual lathes and milling machines.
• Be up for a challenge, to facilitate learning and professional development in a risk-free environment.
• Provide technical advice and assistance when required.
• Ensure a clean and safe workshop.
• Ensure works are completed in a timely manner and manage emergency work situations etc.
