Salary:£15.30per hour £31,824per annum
Hours:Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday7:30am-6:00pm All year round Closed on bank holidays
Are you an experienced Early Years Room Leader or Senior Practitioner ready to take the next step? Shooting Stars Nursery, Bromsgrove is looking for a warm, confident and passionate Pre Toddler Room Leader to join our friendly and committed team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead our Pre Toddler room, supporting children through this vital stage of development while mentoring and inspiring a small team of practitioners.
The RoleAs Pre Toddler Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the room, ensuring outstanding care, learning and development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating the Pre Toddler team to deliver high quality care and education
- Acting as a Key Person and building strong, trusted relationships with families
- Planning engaging, child led activities in line with the EYFS
- Supporting children's emotional, physical and developmental needs
- Ensuring safeguarding, welfare and quality standards are met at all times
- Creating a calm, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Coaching, mentoring and supporting practitioners within the room
We're looking for a caring and confident early years professional who understands the unique needs of this age groupand leads with positivity.
- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
- Experience working within a children's day nursery
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or Team Leader
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and SEND
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for high quality childcare
