Job Title: Practice Nurse (Short-Term Cover) Location: Braintree, Essex Duration: 2 Weeks (Immediate Start) Rate: £31 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse for short-term cover at a busy GP practice in Braintree. This role requires a professional who is well-versed in treatment room duties and can provide a high standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Treatment room duties, including wound care, dressings, and minor injury management.
• Administration of vaccinations and injections, including flu vaccines and B12 injections.
• Cervical screening (smears).
• Chronic disease management support.
• Health checks, venepuncture, and routine patient assessments.
• Conducting ECGs and assisting in various clinical tasks as required.

Requirements

• Experience with SystmOneis essential.
• Valid NMC Registration.
• Experience in a GP practice setting.
• Immediate availability for 2 weeks.
