Role Summary

We are looking for candidates to build and implement analytics solutions for our clients. The incumbent should have strong aptitude for numbers, experience in any domain, and willingness to learn cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
• Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
• Perform data wrangling, model building, and model deployment.
• Stay current with the latest research and technology and communicate knowledge within the enterprise.
• Lead initiatives that improve team morale, camaraderie, and collaboration.

Technical Skills (Must Have)

• Hands on experience in Data Science, Python/R, PySpark/SparkR, and state of the art technologies for exploratory data analysis and building predictive models with big data.
• Experience building and implementing ML driven business transformation use cases such as demand forecasting, price/promo optimization, etc.
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Hands on experience with MS Azure/GCP/AWS Cloud, Databricks/Snowflake, etc.
• Experience scaling ML models from POC to production and deploying with Azure services, Azure Data Bricks, Azure DevOps Setup.
• Ability to communicate actionable insights to a non technical audience.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and ability to analyze and extract relevant information from large datasets.
• Quick and enthusiastic learner, willing to adopt new technologies.

Machine Learning Operations / ML Engineer Skills

• Object oriented programming, coding standards, architecture & design patterns, config management, package management, logging, documentation.
• Experience with Test Driven Development, Pytest, Git, REST APIs.
• Azure ML best practices, MLOps pipelines, MLFlow, Kubernetes, event driven orchestration, online model deployment.
• Establishing best practices in MLOps system development.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python).
• Experience managing client relationships and business cases.
• Azure AZ 900 certification a plus.

Domain & Lifecycle Skills

• Understanding of at least one domain (Retail, Supply chain, Logistics, Manufacturing).
• Familiarity with project lifecycles: waterfall and agile.

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication; team oriented.
• Customer focused, ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Handles multiple competing priorities in fast paced environments.
• Maintains credibility with team members.

Experience & Education

• Years of experience in analytics, data science, and ML deployments.
• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) with consistent academic track record.
• Additional qualifications: Master's or PhD in a related area are good to have.

• High analytical skills, initiative, flexibility, customer orientation, quality awareness, strong communication.
