You will support a range of finance activities, including month-end reporting, budgeting, project accounting, and financial analysis. You'll work across departments to help ensure robust financial control and provide valuable insight into business performance.

We are working with a market-leading organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector, known for delivering large-scale, high-impact projects that drive innovation and support the UK's net-zero goals. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a Part-Qualified Accountant.
Description
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management and financial accounts.
- Support the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Partner with project teams to monitor and report on project performance and costs.
- Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary to support business decision-making.
- Contribute to the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Support finance systems improvements and internal process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards.
Profile
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent).
- Experience in a finance or accounting role with exposure to both financial and/or management reporting.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
