As our next Production Print Solutions Consultant, you will work alongside the private or public sector salesperson leading the sale of PPD Hardware and Software into the Public & Private sector within a designated geographical area. This hybrid role is both technical and salesated, requiring you to build a sound technical solution and sell its commercial benefits, including both the tangible and intangible aspects. Although a background in Production or Professional print is advantageous, this is not essential, and we welcome applications from individuals with a strong sales background within a technical environment.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:
  • Work collaboratively in the following channels: Public Sector, Private Sector, Major Accounts and Inside Sales, SCA & Enterprise focusing on CRD opportunities
  • Achieve all set targets and KPIs
  • Ensure regular and accurate Sales and Solution Pipeline with a view to ensuring successful closure of opportunities within the predicted timescale
  • Sales engagement and opportunity will be generated from both internal collaboration (60%) and self-generation (40%)
  • Through CRM manage your time effectively and fully utilise the system as part of your daily routine, scheduling and pipeline management
  • Work with the PP and IP Channel Manager - Private & Public sector to ensure account profiling/opportunity mapping is carried out and key opportunities identified, strategised and closed.
  • Work with the PSD, Customer Engagement, Enablement Support and service team(s) to enable a truly collaborative approach to our customers.
  • Use the Ignite process while dealing with customers
  • Work with the bids and tenders department to ensure accurate technical information is conveyed in tender responses
What to Expect from Our Hiring Process:
  • Screening Call: A friendly conversation with one of our Talent Acquisition team members - a chance for us to get to know each other
  • First stage interview: This will be a competency-based interview and a great chance for you to learn more about the role
  • Second stage interview: This will be a more informal interview, where you will meet with the Hiring Manager and the Head of Production and Industrial Print
  • Offer Stage: If we're a great fit, our Talent Acquisition team will be in touch with an offer. From there, our HR Operations team will take care of you.
We'd Love to Hear from You If You:
  • Have sound business acumen with a good understanding of the overall business and sectors
  • Sound technical solutions knowledge and capability
  • A solid understanding of consultative sales
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to create/demonstrate empathy with internal and external customers
  • Exceptional stakeholder
  • High impact verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and to agreed deadlines
