Power Platform Architect

Power Platform Architect (financial industry)

Duration: 6-12 months
Location: 3-days per week on site in central London
Pay: inside IR35, up to £650 p/day

We're looking for an experienced Power Platform Architect to join on a contract basis, supporting the design, development, administration, and governance of enterprise-wide Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will be both a technical expert and strategic contributor, helping to shape and promote platform adoption across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions
- Manage Power Platform administration, security, and governance, including ALM practices
- Integrate solutions with internal and external systems using standard, premium, and custom connectors
- Build and support Copilot Studios, Power Pages, and AI-enhanced features
- Provide architectural guidance to teams and mentor junior developers
- Support citizen developers and promote platform best practices across business units
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations

Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience across Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, Copilot, Power Pages)
- Proven background in Power Platform administration and governance
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, ALM, and performance tuning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of SharePoint, SQL Server, PowerShell, and integration with APIs
- Certifications in Power Platform (e.g. PL-400, PL-600)
- Background in regulated industries (financial services preferred)
