PostgreSQL SME - London - 550-650 Inside IR35

SmartSourcing are looking for a PostgreSQL Subject Matter Expert (SME)

You'll be working on a high-profile programme for a key government client. This role requires existing DV clearance or the ability to obtain it.

You'll be joining a collaborative team of DBAs, Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Architects.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA and/or DBE

Strong skills in SQL and PL/pgSQL

Experience with database performance analysis and tuning

Confident in writing and optimising complex database queries

Ability to contribute to an enterprise-scale data environment

Nice to Have:

Experience with Oracle databases

Exposure to other relational or non-relational DB technologies

Security Clearance:

Due to the nature of the work, this role requires active DV clearance, or the ability to obtain it.

Please note that obtaining DV clearance can be a lengthy process and may be required before starting the role.
