Job Title: LV / HV Engineer - Product Service, Private and DNO Networks

About this role

We seek an experienced, talented and focused individual to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for HV & LV equipment across the UK and abroad.

What you get to do with our team

Installation, refurbishment, maintenance of LV/HV equipment.

Interpret electrical drawings and records.

Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.

Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs.

Complete assessment and completion reports.

Installation and modification of AC/DC wiring and earthing.

Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required.

Facilitate a safe working environment during high / low voltage working.

Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of LEEVI and its customers.

Maintain authorisations in accordance with legislative our safety procedures and industry best practice.

Liaise closely with team to understand and manage priorities.

Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.

Cable jointing and end terminations.

Switching and Linking LV systems.

This is why you're a Private & DNO HV Fitter

Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry.

Certified in electricity at work and

Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.

Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.

Computer literate - skilled in MS office.

Technically qualified with a HNC or equivalent apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering

Full driver's License, willingness to travel and work weekends as overtime or with a day off in the week.

Have or held authorisations - Private Networks, WPD, UKPN, SSEN

Mentoring of trainees.

Willingness to work weekends and call outs.

Willing to travel abroad to support product and customers. (2/3 day trips)
