Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Port Operations Manager on behalf of our client company operating in the shipping and logistics industry. This is a permanent opportunity based in Cork.

Role

• Responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective day-to-day operation of port activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily port operations.
• Ensure full compliance with port safety, ISPS, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead, manage, and motivate operational teams and shift personnel.
• Manage rosters, training, performance, and discipline in line with company policies.
• Oversee third-party contractors and service providers.
• Manage operational budgets and control costs.

Requirements

• Experience of port operations would be an advantage.
• Strong operational leadership and people management experience.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
