As a Pool Worker, you will manage a caseload of individuals requiring early intervention and preventative mental health support, helping them achieve their goals and participate actively in their recovery. You will deliver group programmes, develop co-produced activities and peer support opportunities, and encourage engagement with community professionals and services. Working flexibly within the team, you will monitor service users' health, wellbeing, and safety, responding promptly to concerns. You will have effective communication, partnership-building, risk assessment, and case management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with statutory and community services. You should be confident working independently and under pressure, managing competing priorities, and supporting the induction of staff and volunteers. Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills are essential, including Microsoft Word and Outlook. You will also understand local mental health and wellbeing services and confidently promote the organisation to external stakeholders.
