Police Staff Investigator needed in Gloucester Paying £19.24 per hr ref 373314

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

• Conduct proportionate investigations into a range of crime types
• Obtain and record witness statements in accordance with legislation
• Prepare and manage investigation files for criminal justice processes
• Carry out suspect and witness interviews (following PIP1/PIP2 guidance)
• Gather, analyse and evaluate intelligence and evidence
• Conduct house-to-house enquiries and CCTV/tracking enquiries
• Liaise with victims, keeping them updated on investigation progress
• Support officers with case building, file management and disclosure
• Maintain accurate records on relevant police systems
