Podiatrist - MSK (Bank) - Circle Integrated Care, South West Hertfordshire

Bank Shifts - Salary: Up to £28.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).

We have an opportunity for a Podiatrist to join the team in the physiotherapy department. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive podiatric assessments, including gait analysis, biomechanical evaluations, and neurovascular screening.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of foot and lower limb conditions such as nail pathologies, skin lesions, musculoskeletal abnormalities, and diabetic foot complications.
• Deliver care that supports the prevention of falls, ulceration, and amputation, particularly in high-risk groups such as those with diabetes or vascular disease.
• Advise patients on footwear, hygiene, and lifestyle factors that impact foot health.
• Work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, GPs, orthopaedic consultants, and other health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Contribute to case discussions, discharge planning, and onward referrals when needed.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment, and care planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
