PMLD Teaching Assistant - Holsworthy

Overview

Axcis Education are working closely to support a primary school, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support predominantly as a 1 to 1 with a student in Key Stage 2. This is a full time position which requires someone with previous school based experience as a TA, or similar experience working in care or social work.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with complex SEND needs in Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis and, at times, in class.


• Help to implement the pupil's personalised provision plan.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience in a school-based TA role or care/social work equivalent.


• Able to use initiative and support on a 1:1 basis, help pupils feel confident and supported in the classroom.


• A clear communicator and reliable team player.


• Motivated by making a positive difference in young lives.

Details

• Pay: £92.50-£105 a day


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm


• Start date: After Easter - Monday 20th April (possible temp to perm)
