Job Description

This is a school where communication happens in all kinds of ways a blink, a smile, a press of a button. It s where pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties are supported to learn and feel seen, safe, and celebrated. And it s where one small breakthrough can mean the world. We re looking for an experienced and compassionate teacher to take on a full-time, permanent role in this specialist setting. You ll be leading a small class of children with complex physical and medical needs in a space designed specifically to meet them where they are and take them somewhere new. The team gathers: support staff who know every student inside out, therapists who collaborate on personalised plans, and a school nurse close by. Together, you ll deliver a truly individualised curriculum. Forget rigid targets your focus is on meaningful progress, life skills, joy in learning, and dignity in every interaction. Some days, that might be sharing a moment of connection in a sensory room. Others might be exploring sound, texture, or movement in creative ways. You won t be alone.
