A specialist SEN setting in Forest Hill, Lewisham is looking for a PMLD Support Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a specialist support role for someone comfortable with complex needs and personal care. This is a practical, hands on support role. The school needs someone caring, resilient and confident working with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care or structured routines.

What the role involves

• Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP linked needs
• Helping pupils access learning and daily routines
• Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff
• Providing consistent, patient and reliable support

• SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
• Someone comfortable with practical support
• Patience, resilience and strong communication
• A person who can stay calm and consistent throughout the day

Pay and Location

Pay: £95 - £120 per day

Location: Forest Hill, Lewisham (SE13 5AF)
