Purpose of the job is to help my mum out in the mornings before school to get me dressed so that she can assist my brother to get ready for school and to support us to go out in the community.

I have Down syndrome and a wheelchair user and I am very loving.

Personal care is needed. 8 hours term time 12 hours school holidays must be available in the mornings to help me get ready for school in term time. £14.50 per hour.

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am a 9-year-old boy from the Tonypandy area looking for personal assistant to help my mum out in the mornings before school to get me dressed so that she can assist my brother to get ready for school also.

I have Down syndrome and a wheelchair user.

I have kidney disease and am ibd tube fed but my mum takes care of my feeding.

I am double incontinent, so personal care is needed.

I am very loving and I like to cuddle but I can also be stubborn at times especially when it comes to Peppa pig as I enjoy everything Peppa at the moment.

I would like you to take me out for walks locally and spend time with me in my home.

PURPOSE OF JOB Main reason for the position, support at home, out in the community.

Be confident to drive my adapted vehicle.

HOURS OF WORK 8 hours term time 12 hours school holidays must be available in the mornings to help me get ready for school.

RATES OF PAY £14.50 per hour TASKS INVOLVED Personal care and toileting needs Dressing, undressing Moving and Handling Social outings, community activities Any other reasonable task TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Reliable/Punctual Considerate/Caring/Trustworthy Friendly/Chatty Confident/Proactive Confidentiality/working in the home Experienced Car driver Willing to drive owners adapted vehicle ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance.

The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check

• which will need to be carried out before employment can commence.

The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
