This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career within the plumbing and building services industry. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers on projects across Edinburgh while completing your formal training.

You will gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems while developing the practical skills and technical knowledge required to become a qualified plumber.

• Assist experienced plumbers with the installation of pipework and plumbing systems,
• Support the maintenance and repair of plumbing and water systems,
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications,
• Assist with testing and commissioning plumbing systems,
• Maintain safe working practices and follow company health and safety procedures,
• Attend college or training provider as part of the apprenticeship programme,
• Develop practical skills and technical knowledge through on-site experience

• Interest in pursuing a career in plumbing or building services,
• Practical mindset with good problem-solving skills,
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills,
• Ability to work as part of a team,
• Good communication and organisational skills,
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme,
• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
