NOW HIRING: Band 5 NHS Plumbing & Heating Engineer - Newport, Gwent

Are you a multi-skilled engineer with expertise across mechanical and electrical systems? Gap Personnel are urgently recruiting for a Plumbing & Heating Engineer (Band 5) to join a respected NHS team in Newport on a temporary-to-permanent basis!

Salary: £30,966 - £34,125 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (with occasional shift work as required)
Driving: Must hold a valid UK manual driving licence
DBS: Required - paid for by us!

What you'll do:

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across NHS estates

• Diagnose and repair plumbing, heating, and basic electrical faults

• Support safe and efficient operation of mechanical & electrical systems

• Work as part of a dedicated, professional estates team keeping facilities safe and running smoothly

What we're looking for:

Recognised qualification in Plumbing, Heating, or Building Services
Multi-skilled knowledge (mechanical & electrical engineering)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to high standards of safety and service
