Overview

Our client is a leading provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services across the UK. They are now seeking a hardworking and competent Plumber / Remedial Engineer. Working on various Educational, Healthcare, Industrial and Public sector sites you will be responsible for carrying out deadleg removals, removing, installing, and rerouting copper and PVC pipework, and CWST refurbishments and installs in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. You will also be responsible for fault finding on site, ensuring that any faults found are rectified in a timely manner.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential to the role.
  • Have experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry as a Plumber / Remedial Engineer.
  • Able to produce detailed reports.
  • Confident in undertaking work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Visiting a mixed portfolio long standing client sites, carrying out deadleg removals.
  • Removing, installing and re-routing copper and PVC pipework.
  • Attending site to carry out fault finding, ensuring any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • CWST refurbishments and installs.
  • TMV servicing and installation.
  • Carrying out checks on plumbing work and signing off upon completion.
  • Ensuring work is completed in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Creating and completing detailed and site-specific reports.
  • Liaising with clients, maintaining and building excellent relationships.
