Play & Youth Worker

Overview

We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic Play and Youth workers to join our team across the South East. The role involves delivering inclusive fun for disabled children and young people, transforming their lives through the power of play.

Rates of Pay

We pay Play and Youth workers £13.45 per hour and are a Real Living Wage Employer.

Work Locations

• Guildford

Hours and Schedule

• Every Saturday during term time.
• Dates in half terms and holidays.
• Commitment to a flexible schedule to support work life balance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inclusive and engaging play sessions to children and young people with disabilities.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
• Support staff and volunteers in achieving positive outcomes for participants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience or training in working with disabled children is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
