Platform Support Engineer - App Support - £60K
Our client is a growing Financial Technology (FinTech) company - They build innovative software for risk management, investment analytics and even trading market data.
They're growing their Platform Operations and Support team and are looking for engineers to join them.
In a varied role you'll be involved in customer-facing support across the business, monitoring automation, SQL scripting and database development, application and code (Java, Python etc) support and improvements, infrastructure engineering and support and even the building out of DevOps methods and tools.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar Application Support position
- Good SQL and database knowledge
- Experience of supporting complex applications
- Solid infrastructure (Linux, Windows, networking) understanding
- Experience of monitoring and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash etc)
- Cloud, DevOps and automation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
