Ensuring efficient ordering, scheduling, logistics, and compliance. The role supports engineers and contractors by managing systems, planning workloads, and overseeing the flow of plant, materials, and equipment in and out of the workshop and Logistics Distribution Centres.

With our focus on digitisation, automation and streamlining efficiencies, we're looking for a dynamic individual that will challenge existing ways of working with ways of improvement and change.

You will
  • Proactively manage the plant ordering inbox, ensuring requests are handled efficiently, with a focus on clear communication and accurate processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support forecasting and stock management, using data insights to track performance, build dashboards (Excel/Power BI), and highlight trends and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with engineers and workshop teams to coordinate scheduling, support assembly planning, and ensure a smooth, well organised flow of work and resources.
  • Coordinate transport and logistics activities, including delivery and collection bookings, while maintaining accurate records of all plant, equipment, and material movements.
  • Take a proactive approach to issue resolution, investigating discrepancies and working collaboratively to identify root causes and implement effective, sustainable improvements.
  • Support a safe, compliant, and inclusive working environment by maintaining accurate records, coordinating contractor inductions, and contributing to stock checks and safe ways of working.
You have
  • Highly organised with strong coordination skills, able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands in a fast paced environment.
  • Confident and collaborative communicator skills, building positive relationships with engineers, suppliers, transport providers, and contractors.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, alongside the ability to interpret data and share insights in a clear, accessible way.
  • Advanced Excel capability (e.g. pivot tables, lookups; Power Query desirable) and experience or interest in Power BI, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Proactive problem solving skills with a resilient mindset, able to identify issues, recommend improvements, and elevate appropriately when needed.
  • A good understanding of UK logistics and geography, with awareness of systems, health & safety practices, and a keen interest in continuous improvement, digitisation, and automation.
Flexible benefits to fit your life
  • Discounts on private healthcare and gym memberships.
  • Wellbeing benefits like a free online GP and 24/7 counselling service.
  • Interest free loans on tech and transport season tickets, or a new bike with our Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Generous family entitlements such as maternity and adoption pay, and paternity leave.
