Job title: Plant Engineer (6 months fixed term)

Location: Aberdeen

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 07:30 - 17:00, 42 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plant Engineer to take overall responsibility for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of plant hire equipment in the region. The role ensures all work is performed safely and complies with Speedy safety standards.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work directly with other engineers in the depot and liaise regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to prioritize repairs and maintenance effectively.

What you'll need:

• Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to high standards, ideally within the hire industry or similar
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline
• A technical/engineering background is desirable
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Ability to support your team in delivering our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver
