ResponsibilitiesKey Job Accountabilities
As part of the Planning Team you'll be responsible for:
- Monitoring scrap and repro stock levels to ensure effective space utilization
- Co-ordinate the monthly scrap forecast based on site requirements and sales forecast
- Working with the Masterbatch and Polymer Planning Co-ordinator to create a structured weekly reclaim plan, using the scrap forecast as a reference.
- Monitor changes in actual material usage v's forecast and adjust scrap purchases and reclaim production plans accordingly
- Assist the Planning Manager with driving sales of Sustane
- Provide comprehensive support to the Planning Manager
- Attend Monthly Repro and Polymer review meetings
- Work collaboratively with QC to drive internal improvements and monitor the NCR report implementing corrective action where necessary
- Co-ordinate the monthly stock-take procedure (Mass Balance) submitting all post count reports to the relevant departments.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A good knowledge of IT including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience of working in a planning role
- Experience of the recycled plastics industry is desirable
- Use of the In-House Navision Operating System
- Good attention to detail
- Team player and good communicator
- Demonstrate professional behaviours
