Placement Sports Coach - Football

Position Overview

Stowe School is seeking a Placement Sports Coach with a focus on Football to join our Senior School team. The role requires enthusiasm for sport, a commitment to participation and performance, and the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach practical Physical Education and coach across a wide range of ages and abilities in the Senior School.
• Support sports award holders who are part of the High Performance Programme.
• Coach at Swanbourne House and Winchester House Prep Schools (Co Ed ages 3 13) where opportunities arise.
• Act as an integral member of the 7 day a week boarding community, including pastoral responsibilities in the boarding houses.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Football coaching.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Confidence covering a variety of sports; a specialism in one sport is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lifeguarding qualification.
• Additional coaching qualifications to enhance coaching CV.

Working Conditions

As part of a boarding school, the role involves 7 day weekly commitment, pastoral duties, and support for the High Performance Programme.
