Placement Back End Developer

As a Placement Backend Developer at Aware Digital, you'll work across real world eCommerce projects, contributing to all stages of development. The essentials

• Experience with PHP and modern frameworks
• Understanding of software development principles such as coding standards and design patterns
• Experience with package managers and version control
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A desire to learn, share, and improve within the team
• Understanding of the full software lifecycle
• Awareness of security best practices
• Bonus if: Magento 2 experience
• Bonus if: Server administration or DevOps knowledge
• Bonus if: Familiarity with GraphQL, Varnish, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch
• Bonus if: Contributions to open source or community projects

• 32.5 hour working week with flexible start and finish times
• 28 days holiday, including your birthday, plus extra around Christmas
