We are a united parish with four churches united into a single PCC, located adjacent to the western Lake District and the Irish Sea Coast. Crosslacon is a highly pioneering parish with an inspiring range of missional initiatives made possible by empowered local leadership and partnerships. Three of our church buildings have been imaginatively renovated for mission and outreach. We are part of a pilot project for rural mission funded by the Church Commissioners through the Diocesan Investment Programme and you would be part of shaping that project and the deployment of resources to release new energy for mission.

We are an open, multi-generational parish which welcomes new members from varied spiritual backgrounds and lives by an inclusive theology with an open table. The post would suit either a formally trained pioneer priest or a priest with a pioneering spirit.
