Pig Farm Manager in Nottinghamshire

We are recruiting for a Pig Farm Manager for an outdoor unit in Nottinghamshire, NG20.

The outdoor breeding unit has approx. 1200 sows. The pigs leave the site at 7kg. The chosen candidate will oversee six staff members, manage all welfare and production, and operate farming machinery.

Person Specification:

• Positive, proactive approach
• Strong knowledge of pig production
• Commitment to high animal welfare
• Ability to manage staff
• Understand figures, targets, etc.

Salary: £36,000 - £50,000 DOE

Plus:

• A workplace pension
• Paid holidays

Hours:
45 hours a week rota, depending on the manager.
