Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vestibular Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join our growing clinical team. You will evaluate, manage, and treat adult patients presenting with peripheral and central vestibular dysfunctions, BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), and balance impairments
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients with balance and vestibular disorders.
- Design and implement personalized, evidence-based vestibular rehabilitation programs.
- Utilize specialized equipment (e.g., video goggles/frenzels, vHIT, Vertigenius) for diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Educate patients and their families regarding symptom management, home exercise programs, and fall prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate, contemporary clinical notes and collaborate with local ENT specialists and neurologists.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registration: Valid registration with CORU (the multi-profession health regulator) and membership in the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience, with demonstrable postgraduate training or special interest in vestibular rehabilitation.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills with fluent spoken and written English
