This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Physiotherapist. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our community rehabilitation service, a dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing assessment, treatment, and intervention to older people and disabled adults with multiple pathologies within South Locality of Glasgow City.
The Rehab service responds to a wide range of referrals from acute and community settings with the aim of preventing hospital admission and maximising patients independence within their own home. You will be part of an integrated team, working directly alongside other AHP and nursing professions to deliver person centred goals.
As a physiotherapist, you will deliver a high quality specialist service, providing clinical intervention, education and support to patients and their carers. You will provide patient assessment, case coordination, treatment and plan discharge for adults with rehabilitation needs. Other duties will involve the provision of advice on professional interventions as well as supervision of appropriate team members and students. There will be opportunities to be actively involved in service development and quality improvement.
You will be an HCPC registered Physiotherapist and your experience should include working within any or all of the following; Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Medicine or Care of the Elderly Specialties and you should be able demonstrate a desire to work within the community setting.
This is a community post and you will work in a variety of locations in the South of Glasgow City, therefore a full driving license is essential.
