Job Description

Are you an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking for a new or additional role with career development opportunities? Have you ever thought about working within a prison environment, helping to rehabilitate and support offenders to live purposeful lives as a member of the community?

If you are seeking a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day, then this is the place to be. We believe in a good work-life balance, so there is no on-call or weekend work.

This role is part-time, working 1 day a week at HMP The Mount, Hemel Hempstead.

You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies, including some complex and/or chronic presentations. You need to demonstrate advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, work within the MDT, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

This is your opportunity to work as part of a forward-thinking, innovative healthcare team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists, and mental health professionals, delivering high-quality, best-practice treatment. You will also be part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team, comprising physiotherapists and podiatrists in immigration centers and prisons across the country.
