start after the Easter break and is expected to run
until the summer, with a
0.8 timetable initially available. However,
full-time applicants will also be considered for the right candidate. The Role: As a Physics Teacher, you will join a successful Science department and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject. - Planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons in line with the curriculum
- Inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of scientific principles and real-world applications
- Assessing students' work and providing constructive feedback to support progress
- Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages academic curiosity
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Science department to share resources and best practice
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience teaching Physics at secondary school level
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to engage and motivate high-achieving students
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
