Physical Oceanographer: Southern Ocean Climate Modelling

British Antarctic Survey (BAS) in Cambridge is seeking a physical oceanographer to contribute to the SYNCHRONY Horizon Europe project by producing target maps for observations of key variables and indicators for Southern Ocean warming and the carbonate system.

The role involves running adjoint sensitivity experiments, analysing observational air-sea flux products, and managing code and datasets. Collaboration with the Polar Oceans team and participation in international meetings are expected.
