Lead PHP Developer/Senior Web Developer required by global professional services company. Working on a key internally utilised web-based systems built in PHP and associated frameworks, you will lead development initiatives within the full life cycle.

Working with a small team the Lead PHP Developer/Senior Web Developer will:

• Work with Project Managers and Business Analyst to elicit requirements
• Play a key role in the architecture and design of the web based systems
• Develop code within the full life cycle: >>>DevelopmentTestingDeploymentRefactor
• Develop integrations with internal and external system via API
• Undertake code reviews across PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Codeigniter, SQL/MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript (inc React.js and Vue.js)
• Lead and develop more junior members of the teams

We are open to applications from across industry and varying levels of experience in terms of leadership and project delivery; any experience working within Agile/PRINCEII would be beneficial.

You will however:

• Possess Senior level PHP development experience with at least one main contemporary framework such as Laravel/Symfony, Codeigniter etc
• Work within the full stack of web development inc PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Be confident in use of various Javascript Frameworks inc Vue.js, React.js (or others)
• Possess strong database design skills for web based systems utilising SQL/MySQL
• Be comfortable deploying enterprise applications within the AWS environment
• Demonstrate experience working within the full life cycle from design to delivery
• Be capable of leading a small team and undertaking code reviews for junior members
