PHP Developer - Remote - UK Only

Location: Home-based (UK-based applicants only)
Type: Contract until 31st December 2025 - expected extension
Rate: £250 - £270 Inside IR35

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain business systems, applications, and integrations.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following MVC standards.
• Support testing and bug fixing to ensure high-quality releases.
• Document your work clearly and contribute to team repositories.
• Learn and grow by working with modern development standards and practices.

Essential (2-3 years' experience with):

• PHP 8+ with understanding of OOP principles.
• MySQL and database skills.
• Version control (GitHub/Bitbucket) and collaboration tools (Jira/Confluence).
• Experience with API integrations.
• Awareness of secure coding practices.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum working environments.

Desirable (nice-to-have, not essential):

• CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker).
• Unit/Feature testing.
• Tailwind CSS, Postman, MS SQL.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge.
